Clean, current design with clear spacing and visual hierarchy.
A credible online presence that reflects the real business.
One focused page or several clear pages, according to the amount of useful content.
Focused wording and enquiry routes that help visitors act with confidence.
Readable and easy to navigate on the devices customers use.
Services
From a focused refresh to a new website, the scope follows what customers need to understand and do.
One-page and multi-page websites for trades, service businesses, small firms and growing companies.
Refresh an outdated website while keeping useful branding, content and business information.
Improve layouts, navigation, forms and readability on phones and tablets.

About Shaldon Web Studio
Shaldon Web Studio is a small web design studio based in Shaldon, working with businesses in South Devon and remotely elsewhere in the UK and Spain.
Ben Jones handles the website design and build work directly. You speak with the person making the website instead of being passed between a salesperson, account manager and separate developer. Communication stays direct from the first conversation through launch and handover.
The work starts with understanding the business, what customers need to know and the next step the website should make easy. The focus is a clear, professional site that people can understand and use without fuss.
Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about scope, timing, revisions, hosting and support after launch.
Yes. Shaldon Web Studio is based in South Devon, but suitable projects can be handled remotely across the UK and Spain using email, video calls and shared project information.
The written quote identifies the agreed pages, features, content responsibilities, revision allowance, technical work, price and any items that are not included.
A one-page site can still involve very different amounts of copywriting, image preparation, galleries, forms, custom features and design work. The fixed quote reflects the agreed scope.
Two agreed revision rounds are normally included unless the written scope says otherwise. Additional revisions or new work outside the scope may cost extra.
Not automatically. Domains, hosting, paid software and third-party services are identified separately where they are needed.
Timing depends on the size of the website and how ready the wording and images are. A realistic timescale is confirmed after the project has been discussed. If you need a particular launch date, raise it at the start so availability and feasibility can be checked. No completion date is guaranteed until the scope and required materials are agreed.
Depending on scope, it may include page titles, meta descriptions, logical headings, internal links, service and location structure, sitemap and robots configuration, and Search Console setup.
No. A technically sound, well-structured website is an important foundation, but no responsible studio can guarantee a specific search position.
Launch and handover help are available. Ongoing website care can also be discussed if wanted. Any continuing service or third-party cost is explained and agreed separately.
Once the final balance has been paid, you own the completed website and the content created specifically for your project. Your domain should also be registered in your name. Any third-party software, fonts, images or services remain covered by their own licences, and ongoing hosting, maintenance or subscription costs are explained separately. Shaldon Web Studio may retain reusable development components and working methods, while you can continue using them as part of your completed website. Shaldon Web Studio may show the completed project in its portfolio unless agreed otherwise.
